Apple Jelly Recipe:
Ingredients:
4 large apples (preferably sour varieties)
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup of water
Juice of half a lemon
1 pack of gelatin (about 10 g)
Instructions:
Prepare the apples: Peel the apples, remove the seeds and cut them into small pieces.
Prepare the syrup: Mix sugar and water in a saucepan. Heat over medium heat, stirring, until the sugar is completely dissolved.
Add the apples: Put the sliced apples in the syrup and bring to a boil. Then reduce the heat and cook over low heat, stirring, until the apples are soft.
Add lemon juice: Squeeze the juice from half a lemon and add it to the apples. This will give the jelly a fresh taste and help keep the color bright.
Prepare the gelatin: Dissolve the gelatin in a small amount of cold water and let it swell a little.
Add gelatin to the apples: Mix the swollen gelatin into the apple mass until completely dissolved.
Heat the mixture: Heat the mixture of apples and gelatin over medium heat, without bringing to a boil. Just heat it up so that the gelatin completely dissolves.
Pour into molds: Pour the mass into jelly molds or serving glasses.
Cool: Put the molds in the refrigerator and let the jelly completely freeze. It usually takes a few hours.
Serve: When the apple jelly hardens, serve it, if desired, garnished with slices of apple or mint.
This apple jelly will be a light and refreshing dessert with a natural apple flavor.
